Catherine Rodriguez is a veteran artist based in Charleston, South Carolina.

Her work explores themes of memory, connection, and healing, often through the lens of wildlife and the human-animal bond. A U.S. Army veteran, Catherine draws from her military experience to inform the emotional depth and narrative quality of her pieces.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Fine Arts from The Citadel. Her interest in art began early and became a powerful means of expression during and after her time in service. Much of her inspiration comes from the animals in her life, particularly her therapy dog Wilbur, whose presence continues to influence her work.

Catherine specializes in wildlife and narrative-driven art, using traditional media to capture both the natural world and the emotional layers of lived experience. Her artwork has been featured in veteran-focused exhibitions and publications, and recognized for its sincerity, detail, and impact.
